About Sarah

Therapy work found me. I’ve simply followed where I’ve been guided.

I support people through pressure, visibility, change, relationships, illness, loss and difficult times in their lives.

I’m particularly interested in what happens when you’re used to being the person who copes, keeps going and looks like they’re fine.

My own experiences have shaped the way I work too. There was a time when I was caring for my husband while raising two young children, and although I looked like I was coping, I felt like I was failing.

When you’ve spent a long time holding things together, it can be hard to step away from the role and find somewhere to let go.

That’s what I try to offer in my work.

A private space to talk, think and work things through, without judgement, expectations or performance.

I’m glad you’re here.

My work

I never take for granted being given a backstage pass into someone’s life. It’s a privilege to know the person behind the public role.

I’ve worked with public figures and professionals, and understand the scrutiny, expectation and pressure that can come with being visible through hard times, and also the toll of having to keep performing when things feel difficult beneath the surface.

But we all play roles, in different ways. Especially when life gets hard, and you don't have to carry it all alone.

My training spans counselling and psychotherapy, psychological coaching, health and performance coaching, stress management and mindfulness. I’m also a senior yoga teacher with advanced training in Yoga Nidra.

I continue to develop my practice through professional supervision and ongoing clinical training.
